Principal QA Engineer - Mobile Centrify

Centrify's historical focus has been to enable organizations to "do more with less" by embracing and extending an existing infrastructure ? Microsoft Active Directory ? to secure and manage systems and applications within a customer's on-premise data center that is becoming increasingly more heterogeneous due to a proliferation of Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX systems. With the proliferation of mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad and Android in the corporate world, organizations are finding they have to extend their IT infrastructure to include these devices as well. Centrify is offering a solution for account provisioning, de-provisioning, securing and managing mobile devices based on corporate policy.
You must be an energetic self-starter with a desire to learn new things quickly who understands how to implement scalable, high-performance software.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver Centrify's applications in the mobile space
Devise overall test strategy, develop test plan and methodology, as well as make recommendations for appropriate testing tools
Design, develop and execute test cases, using automation as much as possible
Conduct load and scalability testing
Provide timely testing updates as well as raise issues proactively before escalation
Setup, configure and maintain test beds in a cloud environment
Work with escalation engineering to reproduce and verify customer issues
Act as the product champion and customer advocate
Critical Skills:
Proven track record in testing iOS and Android on a system level
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Ruby
Solid operating systems fundamentals as well as strong network knowledge
Experience with automation tools as well as load and stress tools
Familiarity with general software development release lifecycle, source code management and defect management methodologies
Experience working closely with offshore teams a plus
Demonstrate ability to complete highly detailed tasks with strict attention to detail, quality and timeliness. Strong organizational and self-management skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education/Experience:
10+ Years hands-on QA experience, with the most recent experience preferably in mobile environment
4 Years College Education or equivalent work experience
