MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Discusses requirements with stakeholders and formulates a development processes and plans for solutions to these needs.
?Develops applications to facilitate internal and external goals of the company and its various organizations.
?Supports existing applications and provides analysis to improve the system for security, scalability and other needs.
?Assists with system administrative tasks with the production and development Linux environments.
?Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
?5 years of programming experience including extensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails
?2 years of experience using and administering Linux-based servers
?Significant development experience with a major database system (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL or Oracle)
?Strong knowledge of UML, software development lifecycles and application development methodologies
