Job Description Peoplefluent has an immediate opening in the Raleigh office for a Principal Software Development Engineer. The Software Engineer: designs, develops, tests, debugs, and modifies software systems or enhancements to existing software. Works with other technical staff to understand and to develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Analyzes client needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time, cost, quality, and performance constraints. Works with product management and engineering staffs to determine product goals, specifications, and timelines. Provides technical assistance to other departments through troubleshooting software issues. Participates in writing system documentation, test plans, release notes, and software user manuals.
Job Requirements
? Principal level knowledge and experience with:
o ASP.NET
o C#
o MVC (preferably with MVC.NET)
o RDMBS (preferably SQL Server or Oracle)
o Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
? Strong knowledge and experience with UI technologies (jQuery, CSS, HTML, etc.)
? Promotes excellence in product design and implementation with regards to efficiency and scalability
? Ability to function and lead in a team environment
? Requires 10+ years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor?s degree in computer science or equivalent engineering discipline
? SaaS experience would be ideal but not required
