Noetix Corporation seeks a Principal Software Support for its Redmond, Washington office.
Job Description: Troubleshoot and develop functionally accurate, technical workarounds for complex software and setup errors encountered by customers or field consultants, which are typically escalated from Tier 1 Support Engineers. Identify, prioritize, replicate, diagnose and resolve user problems in a timely fashion. Escalate problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to Tier 3 Engineers in order to meet customer service level agreements. Liaise with Engineering for prioritization and correction of software bugs or enhancement requests reported by customers or field consultants. Serve as a mentor to enhance the Oracle technology skills of other Support Engineers, as required.
Job Requirements: Bachelor?s degree- in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry or management consulting industry, including:
5 years of experience using Oracle EBS applications and applying technical or functional knowledge of at least one Oracle ERP module;
5 years of experience providing technical software support services to internal or external customers;
5 years of development experience in coding SQL or PL/SQL; and,
5 years of experience administering with one reporting tool (e.g., Oracle Business Intelligence, Cognos, Business Objects, or Discoverer).
-Employer will accept a Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the skills and abilities listed above as the equivalent of a Bachelor?s degree and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the skills and abilities listed above.
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable, equivalent combination of education, post-baccalaureate experience, or training is acceptable, as are foreign equivalent degrees.
