Axeda Corporation, the global provider of the most advanced cloud-based service and software for managing connected products and implementing innovative M2M applications, is seeking a top-notch Principal Software Test Engineer with a ?test to break' attitude, strong passion for quality, and keen attention to detail. As a member of one or more Scrum teams, this candidate will work closely with product management and developers to design and implement automated tests that ensure Axeda?s product goals are achieved. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success and passion for delivering innovative high-quality software product solutions that delight customers.Responsibilities:
Design, implement and Test mobile and web based applications in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with Development with development and product management to analyze product requirements , develop test frameworks and identify deliverables
Develop and maintain test plans based on use cases, issue logging, verification, and problem determination, and perform ad hoc testing under time constraints.
Create white box and black box test cases to test APIs and associated web-based applications.
Coordinate and lead efforts for cross functional testing and/or 3rd party integration tasks on a project basis.
Collaborate with development to leverage automation in a continuous integration process.
Lead and mentor junior members of the team.
Evaluate Automation Frameworks.
Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:
Expert understanding of SQA methodology
Solid understanding of basic Java concepts and automation frameworks.
Ability to design test plans and execute test procedures for complex applications
Experience in automating tests using JUnit a MUST.
Experience with black box and white box testing a MUST.
Knowledge of SQL, UNIX
Familiarity with web technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and strong communication skills
Familiarity with continuous Integration environments.
