OverviewSugarSync is looking for a motivated and talented software engineer to create new and exciting applications using our file sync and sharing service on a variety of mobile platforms, including iOS, Android and more. Mobile applications are a critical component to SugarSync's product line, and this is an exciting opportunity where your creativity can have a huge impact on millions of end users in the very hot space of cloud based services
Responsibilities
Own, improve, maintain and create new mobile applications that give users on-the-go access to data across their work and home computers.
Work with product management to dream up new, creative ideas for mobile applications, as well as integrations between SugarSync and other mobile applications.
Provide engineering support for our customer support team, when needed.
Mentor other members of the team.
Title will depend on prior experience.
Experience / Skills
5+ years of development using object oriented programming languages such as Java, C++ or Objective C.
Solid understanding of object oriented design principles.
Previous experience with mobile platforms a strong plus of course, but smart developers who have a strong interest in applying their experience to mobile platforms are encouraged to inquire as well.
Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
