Principal / Staff Analog Design Engineer Audience

Job Description

The candidate will be joining an experienced analog design team to design and develop high performance delta sigma data converters for cellular market. This person will be responsible for design and simulation of analog modulator and multi bit DAC design to achieve over 105dB SNR. The major responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Design and simulation of various blocks needed for Delta Sigma converters like Analog modulator, low power / low voltage differential amplifier, PLL and precision reference design
Analog design using Cadence tools, low noise, low voltage amplifier design, and switched cap filter design a must
Experience designing Class D and boosted class D Amplifiers
IC bench evaluation and validation of engineering samples

Experience, Skills and Education Required

Strong knowledge of analog design using Cadence tools, low noise, low voltage amplifier design, switched and cap filter design
Experience in IC bench evaluation and validation
Understanding of pop and click, ultra low power design technique
Good interpersonal skills for cross functional work
10+ years experience designing 16-24 bit ADC/DAC for audio application
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering with emphasis on CMOS analog design

Experience, Skills and Education Desired

10+ years experience designing audio chips for handheld market
B.S. or Masters degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on CMOS analog and Mixed signal design
