Principal UI Engineer
Are you passionate about developing enterprise web sites and rich internet applications with latest design patterns using clean, consistent and maintainable code? Are you experienced in object oriented methodology and enthusiastic about applying them to client side technologies? If so, Bullhorn, a rapidly growing web based SaaS company, and is looking to expand their User Interface Engineering team in Boston, MA
What you will need to have done:
Demonstrable command with hand-coding XHTML, CSS and JavaScript for enterprise level web implementations.
Experience with writing semantically correct XHTML code
Demonstrable experience and examples of complex CSS layout
Knowledge of different web browsers and their capabilities in terms of rendering CSS, XHTML and JavaScript
Some experience with coding using different JavaScript / AJAX frameworks ( jQuery, Prototype.js, YUI, Dojo)
Experience with various social networking APIs such as Facebook OpenGraph, Twitter API, YouTube API etc?
High level understanding of key components of WEB2.0 architecture (AJAX, Social Networking, Blogs etc)
High level understanding of Search Engine Optimization techniques for various Rich Media Technologies (XHTML/AJAX/Flash)
What you will be doing:
Write JavaScript code using the Sencha Touch framework and Adobe Flex (among other tools) to deliver excellent rich application experiences on both traditional web and new mobile and tablet device screens.
Take high-level requirements and turn them into actionable UI prototypes
Solving complex problems as an individual and as a team.
