As a Principal Web Engineer, you will play a key role in the definition, design, and implementation of our technology platform and visually stunning websites. You will be part of a passionate, high-energy team creating compelling, new and innovative online paradigms. As a Principal Web Engineer, you will collaborate daily with product and project managers, creative and user experience designers, architects, and peer software and production engineers.
The ideal candidate must be extremely proficient and demonstrate a track record in leading the design, development, and production of modern, high-traffic and high-volume websites in a fast paced and delivery focused work culture.
Contribute new and unique ideas to the user interface design of a rich and visually stunning web-site features.
Create standards-compliant, cross-browser-compatible representations of visual designs with pixel-level accuracy and attention to detail.
Work with User Experience and Engineering teams to define, maintain, implement, and enforce style guides, standards, reusable templates, and best practices for client-side development.
Assist development teams with client-side development and periodic performance web-site optimizations.
Mentor other mid-level Web developers on RIA best practices and other matters as required.
Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, DHTML, and XML
Attention to details with an eye on pixel perfection when creating web-site features and widgets
Solid understanding of web-site optimization techniques such as CDN, Cloud, and web-caching techniques
Experience with eCommerce solutions, and SEO fundamentals is a plus
Experience in one or more MVC architectures is a plus
Bachelor's degree required
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies is a plus
