Your Mission:
The Quantivo platform is engineered to eliminate the complexity of the underlying technology, so users don't have to burden themselves with the details. This is a technical leadership position at the forefront of the challenge, with the responsibility for architecting and driving the development of powerful but clean and easy-to-use customer-facing applications for loading and manipulating data, for creating sophisticated analytics queries without the need for programming, and for visualizing and displaying analytic insights. Your role is to place these capabilities in the hands of our customers and partners, simply and elegantly. The position requires a background in developing rich Internet client applications with experience developing from the presentation layer through to the backend, and a passion for simplicity and elegant architecture and design.
Your Responsibilities:
?Architect, design, and implement clean and compelling web applications, which customers love to use
?Partner with the CTO, platform architect, and other senior technical staff to deliver a revolutionary, easy-to-use product experience
?Contribute your expertise to the team and in turn benefit from the knowledge and expertise of others
?Partner with the QA, Operations, and Product Management to facilitate testable designs, quality software, and fanatic customers
?Provide leadership, technical direction, and mentoring for 2-5 more junior developers
?Innovate in alignment with our business vision and customer requirements
?Strive for excellence in customer experience, technology, methodology, and execution

Your Profile:
?Masters degree in Computer Science (or similar)
?10 years or more relevant work experience
?Masterful programming skills in Java, and JavaScript
?Mentoring and coaching more junior developers is in your soul
?A strong sense of aesthetic and friendly user interface design
?Experience building scalable systems using the RESTful design pattern
?A full toolbox for building web applications including expertise with multiple common application frameworks and UI libraries
?Deep experience in integrating both open-source and in-house software
?Strong knowledge of the LAMP stack plus familiarity with Windows as a development environment
?Experience using agile software development methods
?Flexible, pragmatic, creative and open-minded
?Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment
?Excellent verbal, listening, presentation, and writing skills
?Strong sense of responsibility and good at taking the initiative
