Principle System Engineer TelTel
Present and demonstrate TelTel technologies and solutions to resellers and customers, both on-site or through online tools.
Assist sales in answering pre-sales questions, defining SOW, and compiling customer requirements.
Assist in post-sales activities including prototype development, project management, system deployment, and problem trouble shooting.
Work with R&D team to track bug-fixes and feature-requests, and resolve escalated customer issues.
Work with business development and marketing group in preparing marketing material including technical white paper.
Some travel to customers sites needed, and is available for after hour, on-call activities as needed
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 years experience in Telecom or Internet service related fields.
Prior sales engineering experience with Internet and Telecom related product and service is plus.
Strong knowledge of Internet networking and related application protocols.
Extensive hands-on administrative experience with Linux servers and various networking gears.
Good understanding and troubleshooting skills of VoIP infrastructures and protocols, including SIP RFC 3261, Firewall/NAT traversal, audio and video Codec, PSTN, NGN & IMS.
Familiar with the VoIP market and be able to compare different products and identify each advantages and disadvantages.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure, either individually, or as part of a team.
Good writing skill to be able to articulate ideas and eventually turn it into white paper to distribute to customer.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with customer oriented focus.
