About the Job
This is an exciting and rewarding position in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment within the digital color graphic printing industry located in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We are looking for an ambitious Printer Engineer whom we can offer an excellent career path along with a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience. Strong computer skills and excellent verbal/written communication skills are a must. Travel required (30-50%).
Responsibilities Include:
Provide training and technical support for key customers, both remotely and on customer site
Conduct printer installations and repairs at customer site
Problem resolution and troubleshooting, evaluating and determining multiple problem sources
Support color management initiatives for key accounts and partners
Provide technical training for resellers
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction
Validation of new technologies
Testing whole product solutions
30-50% travel
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 4-year college degree required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Previous work with ink jet printing systems (Epson and Ricoh)
Customer service, technical support and/or training experience
Color matching, management and ICC profile generation
Digital design of textiles would be beneficial
Experience with Windows and Mac based graphics applications such as Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of IT and RIP software such as Ergosoft, Wasatch, and Onyx
Ability the appropriately deliver communications to suit a range of audiences
Ability to adhere to established service procedures
Experience with CRM systems
Service certifications are a plus
