Summary of Functions:
Due to continued growth we are seeking Process Auditors on 1st shift to support our Memphis based operations.
Summary of Functions:
Performs internal scheduled and random audits of the operations process and supporting departments including Safety, Loss Prevention, and Environmental requirements.
Verifies the implementation and execution of ISO policies and procedures described in the documented quality system.
Assists in developing process improvements.
Audits after training and corrective actions to verify training or actions were effective.
Self-motivated, provides input to find process problems and non-compliances to New Breeds ISO -9001 quality system, customer and other requirements
Professional in conveying audit findings to employees and management.
Expert in interpreting and understanding all aspects of the document ISO-9001 and New Breeds QMS documentation.
Assist Process Technicians and Quality Coordinators with follow-ups on Process / Quality-related problems.
Expert in conducting Root Cause analysis and SPC.
Administers Corrective Actions with follow-ups to ensure CAR is closed in a timely manner.
Document audit findings and records in Quality database system
Train and interpret process procedures/work instructions/quality bulletins with departments being audited; provide input on changes and/or updates to work instructions/procedures.
Drives special projects (auditing, training, and/or inspecting) and provide reports to management on findings.
Updates QMS documents when problems are noted or additions needed in conjunction with the Process Technicians.
Audits to ISO14001 EMS standards
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Three years of work related skill, knowledge, or experience in Process Auditing.
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 production environment.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence; ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one, small and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to interpret graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in Written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Expert ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel and Outlook).
