Imagine Yourself:

Process Development
Responsible for any new process developed until it is running smoothly in pilot production.
Responsible to produce and maintain documentation until process are fully operational in pilot production.
Responsible for equipment used in all processes developed.
Responsible for safety of processes and for those who use them until process are running smoothly in pilot production.
Assist engineering in all processes and machines within your expertise when requested.
Work with material suppliers to ensure that processes you develop are robust and capable enough to be used in volume manufacturing.
Establish process capability and process suitability for all processes developed.
Use a platform approach as much as necessary in regard to both tooling and processes.
Tooling:
Develop tooling required to support any new process.
Use design for manufacturing methods when developing all tooling.
Contact suppliers and seek necessary support for new tooling development and when equipment failures occur.
Work with engineering on new product introduction, alternative raw materials, tooling requirements, test plans, and product qualification requirements.
What Were Looking For:

Masters level degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field
Minimum of 5 years experience
Knowledge of electrical, optical, and mechanical components highly desirable.
proficient with Microsoft products such as Excel and Word
Statistical software package such as Mini-Tab, or Jump, a working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2-D/3-D design software.
Ability to program in Labview or C++ is an asset, but not required
