Description
Primary responsibilities and Essential Functions:
As the Engineer responsible for Circuit Finishing and Module Assembly Processes you will specify, implement and validate manufacturing process, metrology and test equipment on Stion?s Production lines. Specifically, you will also oversee circuit preparation processes and equipment such as laser-based, chemical & mechanical film removal tools.
Responsible for sustaining Circuit Finishing and ribbon attach equipment on Stion Production Line.
Project Management of instrument and tool deliveries, installation, commissioning, and release to production.
Troubleshooting or upgrading on production or pilot line inspection systems.
Locate and diagnose failures using standard electronics equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, specifications, manuals and/or instructions
Documentation and Engineering Change control of production processes with work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Rigorous adherence to SPC control of processes and implementation of a sustainable method to ensure optimal process stability.
Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards
A member of the Emergency Response Team
Positive ?can do? work attitude, willingness to be a hands-on contributor, and ability to work well with colleagues at all levels & departments are critical
Qualification Requirements (Knowledge Skills, Abilities, Experience, Training, Education):
Engineer with 5+ years of experience
Strong analytical skills ,SPC implementation, training and deployment experience
Bachelors Degree ? Mechanical/EE Engineering, Physics, Optics or equivalent.
Knowledge of laser and mechanical scribing of various thin films for PV circuit formation.
Knowledge of lamination processes
Knowledge of soldering metallurgy and ribbon attach processes
MS Project, Office
CAD ? Solidworks, Inventor, ACAD, JMP, Mini-Tab a plus
SixSigma Training Certification desired
