Freescale has a number of opportunities for Process Engineers. As a Process Engineer at Freescale you will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. In addition, you will collect data and implement systems to optimize all phases of the production process in a timely manner within established budgets.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering, with a GPA of 3.25 or above
Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
Background with SPC, Design of Experiments or Lean Manufacturing is a plus
Prior internships or co-ops in a semiconductor fab setting
Excellent teamwork, communication and writing skills
