FPROCESS PERFORMANCE CONSULTANT
Field based individual that represents the voice and face of MPI to dealership customers. The Process Performance Consultant's mission is to retain existing clients while also growing their customer base â€" this is achieved by driving performance improvement within their clients' vehicle inspection processes, thus resulting in increased customer satisfaction and revenue.
JOB FUNCTIONS/ACTIVITIES
• Use consultative approach to drive & sustain improvements within the vehicle inspection process of their clients, leading to increased customer pay revenue within their dealerships
• Analyze client performance (both from reports & direct observation) to determine areas of opportunity
• Primary customer contact
• Quarterly personal dealership visits
• Monthly consultative phone calls, supplementing the quarterly site visits
• Proactive outbound communication to clients (up to DP/GM levels)
• Present improvement opportunities to clients
• Implement and manage customer action plans
• Provide added in-dealership support to drive improvement in their inspection process
• Establish and maintain a solid business relationship with dealership personnel
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement in process execution
• Interface with other MPI departments
• Strong product knowledge â€" understand existing product offerings and their application within the overall dealership environment
• Stay current with product enhancements
• Able to effectively communicate product features & benefits to the customer
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 50%
• 2+ years of Dealership Fixed Operations experience
• 2+ years of dealership consulting experience
• Knowledge of Dealership Fixed Operations
• Self-motivated with little need for management involvement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong phone communication skills; good command of the English language
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; able to interface comfortably and effectively with all levels of dealership management
• Ability to interpret analytical data and share that information clearly with dealership personnel; ability to translate data into process improvement opportunities
• Professional appearance a necessity
• Consultative selling experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player; able to work effectively with other departments within MPI
• Bachelor degree or above preferred
