Processor Validation Engineer- Hot Startup Opportunity Tilera

We are already shipping the ground-breaking TILE-Gx72 processor and sustaining the momentum with new processors to capture the networking and cloud markets.
We have a growth opportunity for a strong Validation Engineer who has intuition, insight,and a natural curiosity for how things really work. We are looking for someone who knows how to drive down to the root of a problem; someone who has the confidence to challenge group assumptions and explore possibilities others aren?t considering.
As the Design Validation engineer, you will ensure that Tilera?s processors are production-worthy. Your work will begin with pre-silicon verification with an aim to drving post-silicon validation. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, characterizing each design across configurations and environments to uncover underlying design or yield issues. You will be challenged to isolate and identify specific problems, propose solutions, and drive issues to closure.
In your first year at the company, you will develop a deep technical understanding for finding root cause issues across a complex manycore chip architecture, design and verification infrastructure, system software, and applications.
The preferred background for this role:
A minumum of 5 years of experience in the following:
High-level programming and description languages
Software development/productivity tools
Strength in CPU architecture or I/O protocols (Ethernet, PCIe, USB, DDR). Familiarity with both is preferred.
