Job DescriptionThe Asset Manager is the pioneer procurement personnel based in the US, and he/she will serve as a corporate focal point for engineering purchases and asset management. The main responsibilities include sourcing, buying, asset identification and tracking, and calibration control. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
The job function encompasses three areas of responsibility
1. Procurement
Work with internal teams to understand engineering requirements and develop procurement plans
Perform procurement activities such as sourcing, quotations, price negotiation, PO processing, ordering, tracking, delivery and reporting
Manage demo boards inventory, including internal usage tracking, inventory planning and reporting
Document processes and identify areas for process improvement and system enhancement
2. Asset Management
Develop and maintain overall asset management system for identification, tracking, and control of assets to support audit requirements.
Evaluate available asset management software tools to improve asset traceability and maintain ownership history of capital equipment
3. Calibration Control Management
Develop and execute calibration program by working with equipment owners to ensure calibration status of equipment in all labs and areas at Audience HQ are in compliance.
Maintain Calibration Control database and ensure all records are up to date including link to calibration certificates, and other vital information.
Required Experience/Qualifications
BS or similar
5 year experience in a technical role, preferably with captive board manufacturer
Experience with board level (PCB) procurement activity in a technical capacity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid working knowledge of MS Office tool suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with Oracle would be advantageous
