The Procurement Cost / Price Estimator is part of the Global Procurement team and will assist in the areas of new product development, product cost improvement, product cost increase mitigation and product cost modeling. This position will create and maintain a database capable of developing accurate cost estimates for all product categories within a specific timeline. The Procurement Cost / Price Estimator is required to work interactively with the business teams as they develop cost models for all existing and future business. Limited International and Domestic travel may be required in this position.
Examples of Typical Activities:
Create and maintain cost database by entering data and documenting work
Develop ?should cost models? to predict impact of changes in the global marketplace
Analyze RFQ packages for new and existing products
Performs a variety of complicated tasks working suppliers, commodity mangers, engineering, finance, manufacturing and marketing
Serve as the centralized output for cost increase mitigation
Continually identify cost savings opportunities
Communicate with suppliers and/or Evenflo Asia team as needed
Set up and maintain items to be purchased in BAAN ERP system
Bachelor?s Degree required preferred in accounting, finance or supply chain: 5 - 8 years of experience in procurement.

Comprehensive organizational, analytical and written / oral communication skills
Strong Report Writing Skills
Project Management Skills ? ability to follow project plans and meet key milestones on time
Proficient with MS Office, ERP ? emphasis on Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook capable of creating pivot tables and Vlookups
Understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Costing ? US, Mexico, and Asia focused
