Kongregate is expanding our #1 core gaming network to the mobile platform! As a Producer of Mobile Games, your primary responsibility will be working with our external development teams to ship and operate free-to-play mobile games. You will work with our internal business development and sourcing teams to build relationships with external developers. You will negotiate deals, manage contracts and milestones and work with our game and product teams to deliver and maximize state of the art free-to-play mobile games.The ideal candidate has experience balancing the creative and business needs of game development and is comfortable working in an analytical, metrics-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Work with the business development and PR teams to source qualified game development partnerships
Negotiate game publishing deals that drive the maximum business outcomes for our external game development partners and for the Kongregate game network
Manage the production and development of multiple new titles, providing creative and business direction to help maximize the performance of each title in the Kongregate portfolio
Guide the launch and live operations of our portfolio titles by working with our external teams to develop and ship roadmap features that maximize their business outcomes
Qualifications:
Experience developing, shipping and operating free-to-play games
Comfort with metrics-driven feature development and roadmapping
An understanding of mobile game platforms, mobile game design best practices and product methodologies and roadmapping
Demonstrable experience operating game teams and game development best practices (like agile methodologies, scheduling, source control, bug management, live game ops, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, deliberate and organized
Passion for the mobile games business
This job will be based in our San Francisco headquarters. There is some flexibility on the level/title depending on candidate experience.
