PRODUCER/WRITER (Video Team)

Internal agency is seeking a talented Producer/Writer to join our team.

In this position, you will work closely with the entire marketing and creative team including, animators, writers, designers and internal clients to create scripts for marketing, product demos, corporate and executive videos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

We are looking for a dynamic Producer/Writer to develop clear, compelling content to support all types of corporate videos. We need a versatile communicator with solid writing experience and the ability to generate scripts that resonate with customers, prospects and internal audiences. The work will be weighted approximately 70% writing and 30% producing. The ideal candidate is a driven team player that is creative, reliable, motivated and enthusiastic about achieving our team and corporate goals.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of experience writing in an agency or corporate marketing environment creating scripts for video production
• Strong understanding of software technology
• Exceptional writer for varied audiences with the ability to communicate in a direct, concise manner, while also making the content interesting and compelling
• Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging
• Bridge communication between groups including but not limited to video team, internal clients and company executives
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise manner
• Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly in handling various projects and deadlines
• Excellent detail orientation with demonstrated ability to retain and act on detailed direction
• Ability to work well within a fast paced, dynamic, deadline oriented environment
• Ability to work with a team and willingness to take initiative and work independently
• Comfortable integrating feedback from a variety of different stakeholders
• Must be able to collaborate, be flexible and work organically
• Enjoy the creative challenge of working on several projects in the same week
• Thrives in a fast paced environment and possesses a strong personal work ethic with willingness to go the extra mile and get the work done

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

• Must be able to work independently but should also possess the communication skills needed to collaborate with peers and take instructions from clients and supervisors remotely
• Must embrace and promote the goals of Hook & Loop, and do what is required to reach these goals
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must be willing to pitch in wherever they're needed

Suitability for interview will be heavily weighted on the quality of your samples. This is an on-site temp-to-perm position with a long-term staff position available, if all works well. NO RECENT GRADUATES.
