Product Analyst - MaxPoint Express MaxPoint Interactive
MaxPoint is currently looking for a Product Specialist to join our team in our Raleigh/Durham headquarters. This position requires sales, marketing, and technical skills that will be used to design, promote and sell the MaxPoint Express product. The selected candidate will work closely with members of the dedicated MaxPoint Express team and also with Product Management, Marketing, and Analytics and will be responsible for providing detailed, constructive feedback, insights, and ideas. The Product Specialist will report to the Director of MaxPoint Express.

You will be an integral part of a small, cross-disciplinary team working on highly visible projects.
Gain a thorough understanding of the product functionality and abilities
Provide recommendations on ways to improve day-to-day operations and the QA Process
Research and develop new algorithms, methods, models for understanding online behavior
Design experiments to identify and exploit new data patterns
Ensure customer satisfaction by interacting directly with customers to improve the product and understand the customers? needs and the product?s future direction
Communicate with customers and prospects via phone, chat, email, or in-person
Assist with pulling data for daily and weekly management reports
Create processes that automate manual tasks and allow the group to scale
QA customer accounts to ensure compliance with MaxPoint campaign guidelines
Assist with the development and setup of ongoing marketing efforts and strategy
Conduct market research related to customer base, including pricing research and competitor analyses
Assist with customer acquisition, activation, and retention activities
Evaluate customer feedback and suggestions to improve product capabilities and user experience
Update and pull reporting from our internal communication programs
Develop close working relationships with other departments, including Analytics, Product Management, Marketing, and Corporate Development & Strategy
Support MaxPoint Express team members and perform other projects and duties as assigned
Strong Analytical skills and ability to quickly learn and integrate new analytical concepts
Experience with data extraction and manipulation with SQL and other tools
Experience in programming or with statistics software (R, SAS, and/or Matlab) is a plus
Experience with very large, sparse datasets a plus
Exceptional attention to detail

Proficient in Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research tools
BS, BA or equivalent from an accredited 4-year university or college
0-4 years work experience. Previous work experience is preferred, but not required.
Relevant experience in account management, project management, consulting, marketing or client services is a plus, but not required.
Candidates with exceptional experience in one or more of the following skills should highlight these skills in the application: writing, marketing, graphic design, html coding, and customer service
