Product Analyst- Tweetbeat Kosmix

As a Product Analyst, you will primarily assist the Kosmix team in collecting, analyzing, and programming data to help develop elements for the new Kosmix product Tweetbeat. Tweetbeat is the real-time Twitter filter for TV, news and live events. LiveFollow what fans and celebrities are saying about the big game, the red carpet, season premieres, reality TV and breaking news. Whether youre watching from home or right in the center of the action, Tweetbeat lets you share your anticipation and viewing experience with the world.

The Opportunity:
Work directly with a Product Manager to manage and program entertainment, sports, and news content for the site
Communicate product specifications and work with engineering to improve internal tools
Work with other Product Analysts on Quality Assurance (QA) activities to directly improve user experience on Tweetbeat

The Desired Skill-set:
Avid web surfer and loves social media (especially Twitter)
Entertainment fan and news junkie
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communication and writing skills
Fluent in English
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word and Excel)
Drive and enthusiasm to work in a fast changing environment of a startup
Basic understanding of HTML preferred
College graduate preferred

Nature of position: This position is structured as a three month contract. Strong performers will be considered for additional contracts or permanent positions at the end of the contract.
