We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager with deep knowledge of the email industry and a strong passion for helping clients achieve their marketing goals. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced media and technology professional to join the world?s leading performance display advertising company. This role will represent the one of the first Sales hire for our email business, with great growth potential for more responsibility based on performance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sales of performance-based digital media solutions and preferably, within the email landscape. As this is a newly created group, this role must thrive in a start-up environment, eager to grow revenues in an exponential manner each year, delivering consistently on aggressive revenue targets. A strong understanding of email landscape will help this role scope, pitch prospects, and close brand new business for Criteo.
This role will start as an individual contributor but will be expected to scale and manage a team as appropriate to handle the growth of our email business.
Reach and exceed sales goals while contributing to overall team goals.
Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with direct clients and media agencies.
Develop relationships at all levels from marketing exec to board director.
Maximize customer retention through developing relationships with key accounts.
Identify and understand trends within industries, what makes a campaign successful and apply learnings to help generate further new business.
Hit quarterly revenue targets.
Minimum 5 years digital media sales experience, ideally highly familiar with online performance business from affiliate network, search agency or media network.
Strong track record of driving new business.
Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of an agency.
Passionate about new media and how Criteo can define new boundaries in the online advertising industry.
Understand the local and international media landscape and Criteo?s position in it.
Demonstrable knowledge of the online advertising industry.
Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic small team environment.
Ability to work in a fast moving company and industry.
People management experience is a plus.
