Product Business Development Director Tumblr
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We?re looking for a Product Business Development Director to build a solid partnership program for Tumblr. You?ll identify, negotiate, lead, and measure the success of high-impact strategic partnerships, which will range from distribution deals with an emphasis on user growth and engagement, to integration deals that support our growing community.
What you'll do:
Negotiate multi-faceted deals with a variety of partners.
Drive user growth and engagement by creating partnerships that help distribute Tumblr content.
Help expand Tumblr?s creator tools by developing and scaling partnerships with technology companies.
Manage deal process from start to finish, maintain relationships with partners, and measure success of distribution and integration efforts.
Work with Product, Sales, Legal, and other teams across Tumblr to forge, support, and manage partnership
What we're looking for:
8+ years of business development or partnerships experience in a consumer-web company.
Proven success in negotiating complex deals and driving aspects of the deal process.
A highly-organized and detail-oriented individual with superb communication and presentation skills.
Passion for and demonstrated use of Tumblr.
A sharp and strategic thinker who can execute his or her vision.
Ability to adapt to and lead in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
Someone who collaborates well with executives, business development leaders, product managers, lawyers, and engineers.
BA/BS and MBA.
