Product Consultant - Germany Client Services | Hamburg, Germany Marin is experiencing tremendous business growth and is seeking to add an outstanding individual contributor with strong prior experience as an Online Marketing Manager and working within a Sales organization as a Sales Consultant. The Product Consultant will work closely with counterparts in all parts of the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Client Services, and Product to ensure sales objectives are met. This position is located in our Hamburg, Germany office and reports directly to the Director of Sales Consultants. Responsibilities
Assess the current state of prospect SEA/SEM programs and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement
Work with client executives to model the value and total cost of ownership of Marin Software
Define the strategy and assist in the execution of overall sales methodology for a prospect
Direct cross-functional company resources required to support prospects needs based on potential revenue and strategic impact
Support Marin account executives with presentations and demonstrations to a diverse, enterprise-class audiences ranging from C-Level Execs to IT resources
Gather customer technical requirements / details of environment for review and development of on-boarding strategy
Coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and creation of client-facing / internal documentation
Serve as a conduit of prospect-related product features to the product team for roadmap consideration
Translate prospect requirements into technical onboarding statement of work
Requirements
3 or more years of prior experience in a client facing role (e.g. client manager, sales consultant, etc.)
3 or more years of hands-on paid search management, web analytics, or similar experience
Prior sales training / product demonstrations with intuitive grasp of selling techniques
Strong written and oral communications skills
Must be fluent in German and English
Quantitative Bachelor's degree from a top University
Compensation Full-time salaried position with incentive performance component -- compensation dependent on prior experience. Position includes equity participation.
