The Professional Services organization within FuelQuest, Inc. is primarily responsible for the successful implementation of our Software as a Service (SaaS) and deployed products on behalf of, and/or with, our customers. The Product Consultant is an integral element to the project team's responsibility of implementing one or many, products as it relates to the customers business processes and requirements. You will be responsible for configuring FuelQuest products based on specified requirements and conducting quality validation tasks to ensure product readiness for customer use. You will be required to assist the customer in understanding how the FuelQuest products fit into their environment and processes as well as training them on the use of the products once implemented. Specific responsibilities are as follows:
Project-Related Responsibilities:
Educate and train customers on the product throughout the project life cycle.
Participate in project status meetings and discussions with the project team(s) and the customer(s).
Conduct product validation and product configuration troubleshooting to support product readiness.
Work with the Professional Services team on development, distribution, and communicating product configuration best practices to support organizational knowledge.
Collaborate with the project team in development, reviewing, and approving deliverable documents.
Participate in the project planning process, providing input on tactics and tasks necessary for a successful implementation.
Communicate and collaborate with a project team (customer, third parties, and FuelQuest employees) to ensure consistency of project reporting, identification of project risks, and defining and managing project dependencies.
Gather and record daily project efforts within PMO technologies to support project status, customer billing, utilization goals, project progression, and project change orders.
Work with cross-functional internal FuelQuest departments to challenge and perfect best practices around product configuration and implementations.
Technical Tax Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers and project team on tax requirements as it relates to tax filing needs:
Derive and outline tax filing requirements.
Educate the customer on data complexities.
Document tax filing requirements to support product configuration.
Identify, outline, and document customer data complexities associated to the product requirements.
Develop and maintain specific project documents to meet and support project progression and milestones:
Change Requests.
Project Status Reports.
Data Gap Analysis Report(s).
Product Configuration Strategy Document
Product Acceptance Test Plans and Acceptance Criteria Documents.
Interact with the Product Management team in current product tax feature updates and recommendations to support current best practice customer utilization.
Participate in tax discussions with the customer, third-party vendors, and project team as it relates to customer requirements and the end-product configuration.
Collect and analyze customer data, as it relates to the product requirements, and identify where there are data gaps and challenges.
Troubleshoot data to determine where customer data will experience product usage impacts.

Minimum Qualifications, Education Requirements:
25% to 50% ability to travel required.
1-2 years of consultancy experience preferred.
Knowledge in MS SQL Server, SQL, ASP.NET, XML.
Experience with Visual Basic and C# development helpful.
1+ years of SaaS, and/or deployed, software configuration experience.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience (4 years).
Knowledge of the Motor Fuel Midstream and Downstream Market and Motor Fuel Tax Industry, a plus.
Knowledge of SQL and experience working with database applications, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, SAP, SolArc, TopTech, PDI, etc.
