Product Designer Handybook
Handybook is like an Uber for home services. We?ve built a website and a mobile app where users can instantly book a cleaner or handyman. We?re growing fast, we?re disrupting a huge industry, and we?re solving real problems for our customers.
About the role
We?re seeking our first full-time NYC-based product designer. You?ll be a cornerstone of our product team and play a big role in defining the look and feel of our product. You?ll have visual design and UX chops, with the ability to grow, specialize, and lead over time.
Work closely with PMs and engineers to develop product ideas and bring them to life.
Design product flows that are simple, delightful, and highly-converting, both on web and on mobile.
Be scrappy and build the right deliverables for the task at hand, from sketches to wireframes built in Illustrator to hi-fi mocks built in Photoshop.
Pitch in on user research sessions with customers and with professionals.
2+ years designing experiences on web and mobile.
A portfolio of personal or professional projects, including projects over which you had total creative control.
Proficiency with Adobe CS and/or other prototyping tools.
Understanding of and passion for user-centered design principles.
Driven, able to adapt and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
You have experience designing products for growth (A/B testing, optimizing for conversions).
