We're looking for someone who has a passion for building great infrastructure, working with cloud computing, and believes in automating everything.Puppet, Ruby and the Puppet DSL will be the day to day languages that an ideal candidate would excel in. The infrastructure already leverages tools like Apache Zookeeper, Puppet, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, and more. We're looking for people who love leveraging (and contributing to) open source projects.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, experienced team and take on a significant role in the company's development
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
- Highly proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Ruby, Puppet).
- Experience with cloud computing (Amazon EC2, Rackspace, OpenStack, etc).
- Highly experienced in leveraging 3rd party open source projects (ElasticSearch, Zookeeper, etc).
- Focused on automation and reliability.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Want to work in San Francisco - we can help you relocate if necessary.
