An established, fast-growing company, ClearCube has it all ? bright, innovative people working on leading-edge software and hardware solutions, a multitude of impressive customers, and an enjoyable culture based on open communication and teamwork.We are seeking a Product Development Engineer who will help with architecture, validation and delivery of thin-client solutions to address the ever-changing computing needs of the Enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with different departments within ClearCube and architect solutions that leverage the latest virtualization and thin-client computing technologies.
Stay abreast of PC and thin client component technologies such as processors, memory, storage and I/O.
Create Windows OS images for datacenter and thin-client products.
Serve as subject matter expert and a thought leader for thin client and virtualization projects.
Characterize, compare, and contrast virtual environments with different virtualization stacks and remoting protocols.
Create and maintain solution whitepapers.
Create and maintain virtualization environments for executive presentations and demos.
QUALIFICATIONS
Broad set of technical and solutions architecture skills are required.
Working knowledge of at least one of the major desktop and server virtualization technologies.
Working knowledge of traditional PC or thin-client architecture
Working knowledge of enterprise storage infrastructure and architecture.
Strong Microsoft background; Linux variants is a plus.
Working knowledge of Operating System image creation is a plus.
Hands-on scripting experience to simulate workloads and capture performance characteristics is a plus.
Able to articulate ideas succinctly and persuasively.
