Aras is located north of Boston in Andover and is an easy commute from downtown (reverse commute) or surrounding areas.Responsibilities
Define the technical architecture of business solutions, including data model, code structure and interfaces
Prepare detailed design specifications to communicate architectural decisions
Work closely with the development team to ensure effective implementation of the design; define best practices and perform code reviews
Contribute to the core SOA framework to improve implemetation of future solutions
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Expertise in Web Application Architecture, utilizing such technologies as ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS and Java Script
Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering business practices
Experience working in an ISV product delivery and/or open source organization is a plus
Strong communication skills
