What We?re Looking For:2U is changing the way great students and great universities think about online higher education. We develop state-of-the-art technology platforms that enhance traditional offline curricula, while also providing key logistical components, including comprehensive student support services from enrollment through graduation. We are currently looking for a Spring 2013 intern to assist our Product Development Manager on technology projects and help with administrative work.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage a long-term research project.
Report progress on a weekly basis.
Explore new technologies and features used by students.
Research social media and learning management tools used in classrooms.
Create and communicate a report on research findings.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate level program.
You have used a Learning Management System as either a student or teacher. Bonus points for administering your own LMS.
Knowledge of user interfaces in web technologies.
Writing up and presenting research results.
A passion for improving education.
