To help us achieve our strategic business goals, we are currently looking for a CaaS Product Development Manager to join our organisation.
With a global presence and a proven success rate of delivering technology solutions to support our client?s business, we need to employ top talent to support our key business functions. Our CaaS Product Development Managers support the business in realising its strategic objectives by working to develop new product features for the Dimension Data Compute-as-a-Service Product, from conception to development to product release, to ensure Dimension Data?s CaaS product serves our customer?s needs and remains competitive in the market.
As a CaaS Product Development Manager at Dimension Data, your key function will be to take responsibility for working with the technical development and operational teams within Dimension Data to create repeatable, scalable, and operational solutions to meet client requirements.
What we will expect you to do:
You will operate in medium to high complex environments and across one or more lines of business. In this capacity we will need you to deliver on the following:
We need you to use your understanding of Cloud technology, market, and use cases to identify needed enhancements to the Dimension Data CaaS product and define the detailed requirements necessary for their development.
You will work with members of the CaaS software development and R&D teams to develop user stories and operational requirements that drive Dimension Data?s Agile-based product development processes.
You will need to ensure that input from the Product Management and Marketing teams regarding client requirements and market changes and needs is taken into account as part of the development process.
You will need to ensure that such product development occurs within committed timeframes and results in successful integration into the CaaS product.
We rely on you to assist with the ongoing product lifecycle, including ongoing engagement with the product management, operations and support teams.

Qualifications

Key requirements:
A relevant diploma.
Experience in Software Development using an Agile methodology
Up to 5 year?s relevant experience in a related industry.

You will need to have an understanding of Cloud and Internet technologies and the willingness and ability to learn more about this ever-changing field.
You will need to have the ability to grasp the gist of complex, technical issues and translate them into actionable requirements that can be pursued by those who have the technical skills to directly solve them.
You will need to have good client relationship building and collaboration skills.
You will need the ability to make sound and independent decisions which are based on logic and reasoning.
You will need to be organised and have good project management skills.
