Product Engineer Vector Software, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Vector Software, the leading provider of automated software testing solutions for developers of embedded applications, currently has an opening for a Product Engineer.
In this role you will be responsible for the VectorCAST Tool Qualification Materials, which consist of formal tool requirements and the associated tests to validate those requirements. The qualification materials are a separately licensed product, that is used by Vector Software customers in regulated industries to demonstrate that correct performance of VectorCAST within the customer?s development environment.
This is a multi-facetted job which requires Python Programming, significant customer interaction, and familiarity with software development methodologies; including the use of configuration management tools, compilers, and linkers for C and C++ applications in a Linux and Windows environment.
Maintain existing tool functional requirements, and test cases
Add new requirements and tests as needed
Enhance the existing document generation infrastructure to provide a high level of automation
Interact with customers to help them execute the qualification tests in their environment
2-5 years of experience developing software
Professional experience using Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work with customers via phone and online meetings
Demonstrated excellence in a fast paced small team environment
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Experience working in a formal QA organization
Experience programming in Python
Experience with embedded development tools and environments
Experience with LaTeX
Technical degree in engineering, math, or science
