We are primarily seeking talented product engineers who have a genuine interest and care for the product, and who have worked with designers and software engineers in the past. Product Engineer
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with toolkits such as jQuery or Closure, backbone.js, ember.js, sproutcore, or Cappucinno.
- Some familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Ruby on Rails or Django
- Good product sense and experience building sophisticated peformant web apps.
- Experience working and collaborating with user researchers and interaction and visual designers preferred.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or Ph.D in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience
- Solid experience and strong working knowledge in at least one higher-level language, e.g. Ruby, Java, Python and/or C/C++
- Flexibility when faced with complex challenges and adaptability to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous start-up experience strongly preferred
