Freescale has a number of opportunities for Product Engineers. As a Product Engineer, you will qualify and launch new products for the consumer, industrial, networking, medical, automotive and distribution markets. Responsibilities include generating, maintaining and enhancing production and characterization test software for the product, reviewing yield, reliability and quality performance of the products by analyzing failures from probe, final test, burn-in, accelerated environmental and device qualifications and customer returns. Implement manufacturing and test improvements as appropriate and interfacing with global engineering and program core teams, developing plans and coordinating manufacturing activities for products through productization, qualification and ramp phases.
Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a GPA of 3.25 or higher
Studies focused on SOC, test, device, design, or system engineering required
Statistics and Statistical analysis, preferably experience with JMP
Exposure to programming language(s)
Proficiency with MS Excel
Experience with designing experiments
Knowledge of wafer and assembly/packaging processing of semiconductor products
Excellent communication skills and able to work well with global teams
