Product Engineer Bomgar
Position Summary: The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting Bomgar software through all phases of the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Researching, Defining, and Documenting detailed product requirements.
Working with other Customers, Product Engineers, Sales Engineers, and Software Developers to specify software requirements.
Working with Development throughout the coding process to verify business requirements.
Working with Quality Assurance to ensure that test plans are valid for specific requirements.
Supporting Support and Sales Engineering staff with complex or unique customer installation questions in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Presenting product related information to Customers directly or on Webinars.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Preferred: Master?s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience with software design and requirements documentation.
Work Skills
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and superb documentation acumen when creating technical requirements.
Must be self-reliant, but be able to communicate and contribute in a team setting.
Preferred: Unix, Linux Windows, and Mac OS experience.
Preferred: iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, other mobile platform experience
Able to organize, multitask and prioritize
