Duties & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Be a product champion for both new and existing Litepoint products. As part of an engineering team you will be responsible for both New Product Introduction and continued engineering support throughout the product?s lifecycle. We are looking for a hands-on engineer to manage the following functions. (The role also requires contributions in other operational engineering areas on as needed basis.)
Responsibilities:
Ensure new product designs meet the manufacturability, cost, and above all, quality requirements
Ensure the quality of the product's manufacturing test solutions. Oversee the specification and development of product testing done in operations. Develop and carry out test and inspection plans to ensure that all shipments meet the specified parameters and the application level requirements
Ensure production/processes in place to meet the highest outgoing quality standards
Lead and Drive process quality issue resolution. Debug any problems encountered during production down to root cause (module or component level)
Work with Service and Support to ensure field quality and continuous product improvements.
Disciplined monitoring and communication of product status and any issues encountered throughout the life of the product
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Requirements:
5+ years experience in the areas of new product introduction, manufacturing support and/or failure analysis for RF board level products
A good understanding of RF products and a technical understanding of RF design is required. Prior RF design experience is a plus
Prior experience working on WiFi and/or Cellular systems is a plus
Good troubleshooting, failure analysis and problem solving skills are essential
A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills is required
Must have a persistent attention to detail and quality
BA/BS (or equivalent) is required. MSEE is preferred
