Description
As part of the High Performance Solutions, HPS, marketing team of a fast growing RF Semiconductor company, the Product Line Manager for Communication Products will develop strategic plans and define market and product requirements for the product line through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and close cooperation with other Peregrine teams. This individual will manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and communicate the product features and benefits to multiple audiences, both inside and outside the company. Products will be managed products throughout the product lifecycle, from inception to end of life. The Product Line Manager will work closely with engineering, operations, sales and marketing to help bring world class products to market.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leadership and personnel management
New product development / Product Line Management of all products in the product line from concept to end of life
Drive profitable high revenue grow for communication products
Define Business and Marketing requirements and justification
Define differentiated product roadmaps, definition, features and specifications
Product positioning, segmentation, competitive analysis, business modeling, top-down forecasting, product pricing and rationalization
Present the product and solution value proposition to customers, sales teams, press and other audience
Development of materials to support the implementation of:
? Special promotions, new product announcements and literature
? Training materials, fact sheets and presentations
? Product Documentation
? Price Book ? including price file maintenance
? Spec sheets, brochures
? Sales training and Product/market presentations
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Ability to lead a team to develop and implement a differentiate product road from product inception to EOL
Strong background and system understanding of a broad range of RF commercial communications markets and the RF products used in those systems.
Demonstrated product management or marketing ability to achieve profitable high revenue growth in RF communication markets

Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
BA or BS degree in marketing, engineering or business.
8+ years related work experience and/or substantial product management experience in the semiconductor or RF industries within an engineered products environment that requires significant product development and custom engineering prior to transition to production.
Willing to travel 30% of the time
