Product Management Coordinator Sparta Systems
As a member of the Product Management and Strategy organization, the PM Coordinator will actively participate in the day-to-day Product Management and Strategy activities, including generating content for internal and external use, assisting with market research, performing competitive analysis, and assisting with the management of product partners and other third parties. The PM Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the VP of Product Management and Strategy and the PM team including, but not limited to: scheduling and calendar management, booking travel, creating expense reports on monthly basis, and other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to grow and learn in a fast paced environment. This role will report to the VP of Product Management and Strategy and coordinate directly with the Product Management, Research and Development, Sales, Support, and Marketing teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research and monitor competitors and targeted companies in Sparta?s adjacent landscape.
Understand and stay current on industry trends, current competitive landscape, competitive landscape around future solution areas, and organic product efforts.
Assist with partner-related activities and coordination both internally and externally.
Assist with coordination of win/loss reviews with third party.
Participate in delivery of the product and solution launch process and go-to-market strategy including developing the message, and creating and reviewing materials>
Assist with internal and external presentation prep, coordinating with PM, Industry Solutions, Sales, and Marketing as needed.
Review and update product strategy and roadmap materials on an as-needed basis.
Contribute to and/or review RFI/RFP/RFQ content and positioning.
Provide administrative support to the VP of Product Management and Strategy including, but not limited to: scheduling and calendar management, booking travel, creating expense reports on monthly basis, and other duties as needed.
BA/BS degree required
Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort in understanding and explaining highly technical concepts.
Self-starter with strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, in a cross-functional environment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with internal and external personnel.
Well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
