Resonate Networks, a revolutionary online advertising targeting company, is seeking a Director/Vice President of Product Management with expertise in the online advertising space to guide the development and delivery of our core product suite.
Launched in 2009, Resonate Networks has developed the first ad targeting methodology that reaches audiences based on their values, beliefs, and attitudes - what we call Attitudinal Targeting. The company's strong success to date has yielded significant revenue and a recent Series A venture financing round with Greycroft Partners, one of the leading early stage venture firms focused on digital media. As a result, Resonate is in a position to rapidly scale our products and operations, and solidify Resonate Networks as a leader in the online advertising space. To help reach those goals, we need a dynamic and proven Product Management leader to ensure we develop products and services that meet our customers' evolving need for Attitudinal Targeting.
This is a critical management role, with the opportunity for the right person to have a major impact on the future of our company, as well as the industry. We're a start up, so for the right candidate, the idea of both developing the product strategy and working hands on through its execution will be exciting.
Role and Responsibilities:
Establish and execute product management methodologies to ensure predictability, market relevance, and quality of Resonate Networks product portfolio
Lead new product development process by coordination with product management, sales, and ad operation through the use of a formalized process.
Develop deep understanding of value proposition, customer needs and the competitive landscape to evaluate and prioritize new product solutions
Establish and implement product road maps and new product launches in line with the financial and commercial objectives of the business.
Develop short and long-range strategies to maximize sales and profit objectives
Formalize and manage pricing strategy. Ensure product line profitability and sales growth. Manage customer segmentation and drive profitability improvement programs.
Inspire, motivate and bring out the best from a cross-functional team and 3rd party partners
Evangelize recommendations and key insights across the organization and to senior executives
Job Requirements:
7+ years diverse experience working with online advertising/digital media in one or more of the following capacities - product management, product strategy, product marketing, or engineering
Tangible expertise managing online advertising products, including in depth knowledge of evolving behavioral targeting strategies and competitive products
Proven experience creating product vision and roadmaps for new and existing product offerings to address current demands in the marketplace
Hands-on experience with product development of software-enabled services or SaaS service offerings and business models
Past success developing product management teams with strong processes and methodologies
Proven experience scoping new markets and devising go-to-market plans in close conjunction with sales, marketing, operations and application development teams
Financial modeling experience to support decision-making, i.e. pricing yield curves / analysis of the ROI for a given product initiative
Bachelors in Marketing, Business or Engineering required. Masters degree preferred
