Projects are about People. Most project systems, however, are not built with the foundation of a Human Resource Management system. Workday has changed this with Workday Project and Work Management, a revolutionary new product, that helps organizations effectively and efficiently plan, allocate, track, cost and bill the work being done in their organizations. We are looking for a product manager who is able to combine their knowledge of project systems (billable and non-billable), finance, and human resources to drive the requirements and design of a product that helps our customers get insight into the work being done in their organization. As a product manager at Workday, you will define business requirements, produce functional design specifications, and work closely with software engineers to turn functional specifications into next-generation business services.  Weâre looking for a team player who is passionate about building products and bringing them to market.

Experience/Skills/Education:
*8+ years experience as a projects or Professional Services Automation (PSA) product manager or consultant.
*Functional knowledge of one or more of the following: project resourcing and costing, billable projects, Â project capitalization and project portfolio management.
*Experience with a project management tool is a plus but not required.
*HCM and/or Financials experience/knowledge is a plus but not required.
*Experience with Education and Government is a plus but not required.
*Excellent understanding of project requirements for large enterprises.
*Leadership experience, decisive, fast learner, detail oriented, enjoy a fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities:
*Research, summarize, and prioritize customer business requirements.
*Create and collaborate on detailed functional designs, using Agile methodologies and tools.
*Work closely with developers and QA to ensure the product you intended to have built actually gets built.
*Be the product champion and expert point of contact for implementation consultants, support desk, documentation, sales support, marketing, and product strategy.
*Present product requirements and features to external audiences.
*Review, comment, follow-up, and target bug and enhancement requests.
*Work effectively within and across teams to get things accomplished.
