RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business and Market Planning
Conduct and document market research on markets, market segments, competitors, and products in assigned product area.
Initiate and develop Opportunity Overview and Business Case in support of new product and service strategies
Product Management
Develop and document requirements for product demonstrations.
Implement and maintain product demonstration software and systems.
Manage and document product Defect Review process.
Analyze customer needs to identify and define product and service features.
Develop and conduct product training for internal staff.
Define product documentation requirements and review all product documentation prior to release.
Develop detailed functional requirements specifications
o Work with PRO Consulting, Operations, and the Products Team to develop final product specifications
o Work with PRO Consulting and Operations to develop final service specifications
Lead cross functional product teams
o Work with Product Development and Product QC to ensure timely delivery of validated products
o Work with PRO Consulting and Operations to ensure timely delivery of properly-documented services
o Work with Operations to ensure that thorough user acceptance testing and integration is completed prior to product or service launch
o Work with Marketing to develop sales training materials and presentations to effectively launch new products and services to the field
Work with PRO Consulting and Operations to establish and maintain a line of service offerings.
Product Life Cycle Management
Support internal efforts to move new products and services through the Product Life Cycle process
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in business or science-related field;
EXPERIENCE:
At least 4 years experience in defining and documenting product requirements and specifications
Project coordination and planning skills
Proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams
Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Clinical and regulated market experience is a plus
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:
Travel expected 10 - 20 of time
