Job DescriptionThe Product Manager role is responsible for the definition and successful launch of one or more products in the Lumension product portfolio. Responsibilities include:
Researching customer and market needs and wants
Establishing and maintaining the product roadmap by prioritizing solutions to align with market opportunities
Collaborate with other Product Managers to establish the Lumension Product Portfolio roadmap based on relative priorities and available resources
Working collaboratively with Architecture, Engineering, and User Experience to develop solutions which meet market needs and wants
Distilling product requirements from Technical Support metrics and field feedback from Sales and Sales Engineering
Be the subject matter expert for the product
Represent the customer for the design and development teams
Work closely with Engineering and QA to successfully meet release milestones
Work with Marketing to establish key value propositions and messaging
Ensure sales, support, and technical personnel are properly trained to sell, deploy, and support the product
Work with Enterprise Applications, Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and other internal departments to ensure the proper facilities are in place to fulfill the sales and support of the product
Engages in product demonstrations and other external-facing activities such as customer conferences, customer visits, business partner visits, tradeshows and press and analyst briefings
Sets the product vision for the Scrum team and may fulfill scrum duties of Product Owner, as needed, including conducting sprint planning and review meetings, and maintaining the product backlog.

The ability to make priority decisions based on multiple sources of information
Proficiency in MS Office, technically inclined
Required Experience
2 to 5 years of Product Management experience.
Ability to travel up to 25% as required by this position.
Bachelor?s Degree required (MBA preferred).
Preferred: Experience in enterprise software platform or IT security software is a plus.
