The Switchfly Product Manager, Agent Tools will be responsible for advancing an industry best travel software product. With a wide ranging set of responsibilities from writing flawless requirements and training documentation to managing complex operational processes, this person will help the Agent Tools Senior Product Manager further advance the product line to support the unique needs of the fulfillment/call center user of the Switchfly platform.
This role is primarily about software feature development accompanied by training and fulfillment expertise to support new and existing Switchfly customers. Experience has proven successful Switchfly Product Managers share the characteristics below:

Curiosity about and passion for travel, especially online leisure travel shopping and booking tools.
Takes pride in crafting great software requirements full of helpful examples, flowcharts, mockups, and use cases.

Comfortable acceptance testing new features to ensure high product quality.
Enjoys working closely with small teams of software engineers and QA testers.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Manage the product development lifecycle (PDL) in coordination with the Agent Tools Senior Product Manager.
Write functional design specification documents for engineering consumption.
Act as a key contributor to Business Implementation project delivery.
Provide recommendations and solutions to Switchfly customers for successful integration and adoption of product line features.
Create training curriculum for the product line for internal and external consumption.
Facilitate on-site and web based training experiences to Switchfly customers and company employees.
Document and manage Knowledge Base content for agent and online self-service software features.
Resolve client fulfillment related issues quickly and accurately
Experience writing requirements documents and functional design documents and software feature testing.
Requires travel industry experience including knowledge of various supply products.
Experience with various travel agent reservation tools including airline GDS systems and post booking service functionality.
Experienced in training facilitation and delivery to a wide range of audiences.
Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
Ability to excel in a fast paced, highly fluid environment with limited direction.
Bachelor?s degree with 2-5 years relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and how the Internet and websites work
Up to 25% travel required including international locations.
Experience working in a call center environment and familiar with operational support processes required for servicing travel reservations a plus.
Experience in designing training curriculum including use of eLearning authorship tools, Knowledge Bases or other electronic delivery methods a plus.
Multi-Lingual skills are a plus.
