The Product Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring marketing activities for Penumbra products. Working as part of a cross-functional team, the Product Manager will assist in the commercialization of current and future products. This position combines day-to-day marketing activities with critical strategy planning and execution. There will be heavy emphasis on one-on-one communication and relationship building skills with physician customers and sales territory managers.
Duties------------------------
-- Develop quarterly marketing action plans for delegated marketing projects in support of annual objectives.
-- Manage continuing customer and field-oriented product support activities.
-- Represent company at tradeshow meetings to promote product.
-- Implement promotion strategies, ensuring accuracy of product communication content.
-- Participate in field training on company products, and in the development of training materials.
-- Identify market opportunities to maximize market penetration.
-- Manage an ongoing evaluation of company products in the marketplace, with emphasis on customer needs and perceptions.
-- Participate in development and review of product specifications.
-- Participate on cross-functional launch team to ensure successful delivery of new products to sales organization and end users.
-- Articulate and reinforce high level positioning concepts to the field organization.
Qualifications

Requires Bachelor?s degree in business, biology or related discipline; MBA a plus. Two to four years of progressively responsible experience managing marketing programs in the medical device or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Sales background a plus. Neurovascular or cardiovascular device experience preferred. Requires a clear understanding of marketing concepts, strong project management skills, and excellent communication skills. Proven ability to develop customer relationships and add value in a sales setting. Demonstrated collaboration skills in a team environment.
