Teradici is the developer of the innovative PC-over-IP (PCoIP) protocol that enables a true PC experience for desktop virtualization. Initially developed for remote workstation users, the protocol has expanded into Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Terminal Services (Microsoft Windows RDSH) and zero clients end points. The PCoIP has an eco-system of over 30 partners worldwide.
APEX Portfolio is a new portfolio within Teradici (1 year old); its first product, Teradici APEX 2800, was the first Teradici branded product to reach the end-users, leveraging a brand new distribution channel worldwide. The portfolio is strategic for Teradici as it offers a clear differentiator to PCoIP compatible back end solution compared to other Solutions based on competitive remote display protocols
Following its success in VMware Horizon View, with attach rate over 20% of its addressable market, Teradici is now looking for a highly motivated Product Manager that will be able to bring the portfolio to the next level; expanding its TAM with new form factors, new back end systems and bringing new functionalities.
The Product Manager, APEX portfolio is responsible for the entire product line, including roadmap, P&L, demand generation, eco-system expansion and business model.
Determine, implement, and manage APEX portfolio.
Provide direction and input for the portfolio roadmap, in line with Teradici overall corporate strategy.
Define and establish an ecosystem of customers and strategic partners that will leverage and expand growth opportunities.
Build the Go to Market plan for the portfolio based on target customers and ecosystem partners.
Establish an effective and leveraged delivery channel for the product portfolio, building and expanding on existing relationships with Tier 1 OEM computing customers and others.
Define the right positioning per Vertical where the portfolio makes sense.
Be able to support generation of marketing collaterals.
Communicate effectively to senior management.
Solid track record and demonstrable success in product management
Product strategy and positioning, portfolio definition and management, roadmap planning, feature funnel planning and management, use case definition, experience in developing market requirement documents, managing a product P&L
Demonstrable track record of growing and building a portfolio
Track record of developing and implementing technology positioning strategies
Background in hardware based solution, preferably related to virtualization Solutions is required
Track record of key partner and B2B ecosystem development an asset
Hardware knowledge, enterprise IT, relationships are all key assets
University degree is desirable, ideally in engineering and/or business
3+ years of expanding product and portfolio management responsibility leading to significant revenue growth
Strong communication skills to get buy in from senior management and/or partners
Ability to effectively communicate (verbally, including presentations, and written) with technical development and other internal teams on behalf of customers
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio of opportunities
Excellent communication, analytical and business analysis skills
Outstanding ability to sell
Passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
Strong leadership traits
Availability and willing to travel on occasion
