Product Manager - API/Web Services Mindbody
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This Product Manager will enable us to fully unleash the awesome power of Agile Development, rapidly advancing exciting projects such as User Experience Centered Design (UI/UX), APIs, Mobile Strategy, and Core Software Feature Improvements. Product Managers complete MINDBODY?s Agile Development model, enabling our Product Development Group to produce the best software products in the health, wellness, and beauty industries, and ensuring that we remain the best through ongoing continuous improvement.
Prior experience in Agile Development is required. Of paramount importance is your passion for MINDBODY?s Mission, vision for how Core Values translate into our products, high level of existing product knowledge, and experience working with MINDBODY clients, who you will represent in the development process. All successful candidates will be professionally trained and certified as Agile Product Managers, and will receive substantial mentoring from experienced senior managers, including our Director of Product Management, CPO and CEO.
4 year college degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience, plus 2-3 years product management experience
Strong passion for computers and technology
Knowledge of web applications, mobile applications, database and cloud based software
Strong technical knowledge and experience working with SOAP and REST API?s
Excellent written and oral communication skillS
Excellent analytical and technical abilities
WHAT WE'D LIKE
Master?s degree or MBA highly preferred
A high level of business acumen
Proven track record of building and maintaining an API ecosystem

The Web Services Product Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining MINDBODY?s SOAP and REST API?s.
Essential to this role is the ability to deal with multiple internal and external customers and stakeholders. Requested work items will need to be taken in, prioritized, and executed based on business priority, level of effort, and return on investment.
The success of each swimlane will be primarily dependent on the ability of the assigned product manager to come up with new business ideas that solve their main business objective and to execute on these ideas. Each product manager will be expected to put together a business, development, and execution plan in order to drive swimlane success.
