Product Manager, Audio Jawbone

Reporting to the Director of Audio Product Management, youll be part of the core product development team participating in all aspects of the product life cycle including: product definition, design, user interaction, competitive analysis, channel sales and all other strategic aspects of bringing legendary Jawbone products to market.

Responsibilities
Write MRDs, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules with a team of world-class engineers
Manage one or more hardware products through entire product lifecycle, from conception to EOL
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to continually exceed customer expectations
Influence the product roadmap with new ideas and features
Maximize efficiency in a constantly changing and growing organization
Continually analyze the competitive landscape looking for market opportunities and developing strategic direction for your Jawbone product line(s)
Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams including: engineering, design, operations, PR, customer support, executive, and others
Work with 3rd parties and external vendors on strategic initiatives that contribute to the Jawbone experience and ecosystem.
Develop business cases and calculate the strategic and economic value for product initiatives.
Requirements
3+ years of exceptional full-lifecycle product management
Self-motivated and able to act with a high level of independence
Exudes positive energy and is willing to go the extra mile for the company and their peers
Expert problem solving, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills; can craft a compelling story about your product
Demonstrated skills in gathering requirements, building consensus, organizing resources, and schedule risk management
Preferred
BA/BS degree in Business or related, MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
5+ years of exceptional full-lifecycle product management
Experience working in consumer electronics sold through retail outlets
Experience working with hardware / firmware integration
Experience with wireless technologies.
